Maternity Session
Pregnancy is one of the best, unique and transformative journey's in your life. A maternity session allows you to capture this special moment in time, creating lasting memories. Maternity sessions are also a way to celebrate the process of creating a beautiful new life and a chance to showcase the beauty of your changing body. Documenting this journey allows you to look back at these photos and remember the excitement, emotion and experience you had during this time.
Not only is your maternity session a documentation of your growing family and documenting your beautiful transformation, it is also a way to bond with your partner and/or your children, sharing the excitement of your growing family.
Maternity sessions are best captured between 32 and 37 weeks, at this stage you will have a nice defined bump and should still be feeling comfortable to manoeuvre into different poses. However, you can capture this journey at any stage you wish.
Pregnancy is something to be celebrated, whether it be a minimalist photoshoot, classy, or fun filled with props, I am confident I am able to capture your milestone however that may look to you!

Q. When is the best time to book a maternity session?
A. You can book your maternity photoshoot whenever you are ready and happy to do so after your 20 week scan. However, it is recommended to have your session between 32 and 37 weeks, at this stage you will have a beautiful and defined bump and you should still be feeling comfortable.
Q. "I have never had a professional photoshoot before, I feel nervous"
A. Having a photoshoot with me does not matter whether you are an experienced "model" or not. My sessions are laid back, full of fun and laughter all while capturing beautiful images.
All sessions are well guided throughout where I will assist you with posing and having props, accessories and clothing that will enhance your inner and outer beauty!
I totally understand that you may feel awkward and uncomfortable, but I can reassure you, with my experience, guidance and clothing/props and accessories, will remove all doubts as I show you how stunning you look throughout the session to gain your confidence.
You are beautiful, no matter what. Embrace this magical journey!
Q. What should I bring to my session?
A. I will have a selection of props, accessories and outfits to carry out a beautiful session. Unless you wish to bring additional outfits of your own, you are only required to bring black, nude and white underwear.
The selection of items I have will be discussed in our consultation where you will tell me the looks you wish to achieve and colours/themes you require.
Q. Do you offer a hair and make up service?
A. I have a fully qualified and experienced make up artisit on my team. However, she is available on request. Please get in contact as soon as possible so that I can make sure she is available for the required date.
I do not have a hair stylist at the moment, however I can recommend professional stylist that could accomdate your needs.
Q. How long will it take before I am able to view my photos from the session?
Your fully retouched images will be ready within 7-14 days of your photoshoot. Once the images are ready, you will be invited into the studio to privately view and select your favourite images to purchase with selected quality products.
I understand my clients are very busy, therefore if you are unable to come back in and visit, we can make alternative arrangements.
Q. Can my partner and/or children be included in the session?
A. Absolutely! Your partner and children are encouraged to join the session if they are available.
Q. How will I receive my images?
A. How you recieve your images is totally up to you! From premium and exclusive products such as mounted prints, folio books, to beautiful personalised items such as keepsake boxes and USB sticks for your digital files.
Your requirements will be discussed during our consultation and viewing session.
