Cake Smash & Splash
A Cake Smash session is a fun, messy and very popular photoshoot that parents choose when celebrating their child’s first birthday or half way to one!
The first birthday is a significant milestone in a child's life and parents often mark the occasion with a special celebration. Cake Smash sessions capture candid and unscripted moments of your child exploring and enjoying their birthday cake, often the first time a child is having their first taste of sugar. Photos from this session showcase your child's personality, curiosity and joy as many children enjoy the sensations of smashing and tasting the cake; this can make for genuine smiles and laughters in your photos.
Cake Smash’s at Siana Photography are versatile; they can be themed and customised to your specific requirements or they can be kept to a minimal. They are split into three parts, mini portrait, where parents and/or siblings can get involved, the actual cake smash and the splash session. All Cake Smash session include a 5” bespoke cake made by Kamore Events, décor, props and cake smash outfits that match the theme; however, you are more than welcome to bring your own outfits for the mini portrait segment.
While cake smash sessions are associated with first birthdays, you are more than welcome to choose a cake smash session for other special occasions, or for the joy of capturing candid and playful moments with your child.

Baby Milestones
We all know how quickly time flies, especially when you're having fun and let's face it, despite parenthood being hard, we know how much fun it is!
Baby milestone photoshoots are special sessions designed for parents to document their child's developmental milestones and growth of their baby during their first year of life. Milestones can be captured at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 12 months. During these stages, your baby will be going through significant developmental milestones like the first smile, rolling over, sitting up and crawling, some babies may even be taking their first steps. These sessions are also perfect to capture your child's personality as they grow.
A baby milestone shoot is a wonderful way to celebrate and remember your child's early years to treasure forever.
